Honeycomb Basket Pattern

Another very useful storage idea from Beth Studley - The Honeycomb basket. This is the ultimate DIY storage item. I love it!

You can use it in your craft room, bathroom or anywhere around the home. It has 6 individually shaped pockets arranged around a central compartment which makes up the honeycomb shape.There is a sturdy handle making it portable.

The form is achieved using a lightweight sew-in foam, which is easy to work with, and great for structure and padding.

You will need:

- 30" each of two fabrics (assuming a fabric width of 42")
- 1m foam stabiliser (assuming a standard width of 28"). A firm needle-punched 4oz polyester wadding could also be used if foam is not available

Finished size 5" x 14"
