This Bunting Cushion was originally designed to make a keepsake for my niece using up scraps I had left over from making her wedding bunting. It is a great way to use up your little fabric scraps that are just too good to throw away! The cushion makes a lovely gift to commemorate a special occasion.
Requirements:
- 0.5m of linen/denim for cushion front and backs (assumes a fabric width of 42")
- Assortment of small fabric pieces for bunting flags, each at least 2" x 1½"
- Fat Quarter fabric for piping
- Embroidery thread
- 2 small buttons for cushion front
- 3 large buttons for cushion back fastening
- 2 metres Size 4 Piping Cord
- Card or Template plastic
- Fusible web
- Threads to match applique fabrics
- 18" x 18" square of wadding
- 16" x 16" Cushion Pad

Finished cushion cover Size: 16" x 16". It has a button fastening at the back.
